Reader Recursion

As a reader, there’s a satisfaction to seeing another reader engrossed in a book. There’s something quite peaceful and wholesome about it. It’s another human mind engaged in an activity we know is beautiful. Maybe they’re letting their imagination soar, relaxing, analyzing a passage or perhaps just trying to understand a dense philosophical treatise. It makes you feel like there’s someone out there who’s very much like you. And, sometimes, this profound feeling can take us by surprise when seen in a character we’re reading about.

Add fiction books you've read where one of the main characters reads a book.
