Celebrate Like There's No Tomorrow

Holidays and festivities are an integral part of the human experience. Life is full of cycles and we often use these cycles to commemorate important events. These community celebrations can be tied to nature, culture, religion, politics, births, victories, social changes and much more. There are many reasons to celebrate. Can you find a variety of curious examples in your books? From equinoxes to the birth of empires to an animal seeing its own shadow, your quest today is to go celebrate and have fun.

Add books you've read that feature a scene where a festivity (fictional or real) is being celebrated. The books may be non-fiction too.
