A fantastic finale for the series! The ending was strong and satisfying for me, and I couldn't be happier to have partaken in this awesome journey full of wondrous adventures.
The book was poetic and epic. Full of pain and sacrifice. I believe the plot lends itself well to some interesting philosophical reflections but that's not the focus of the story. The focus are the epic undertakings (and sufferings) of our beloved characters. It has its heartwarming and heart-wrenching moments for sure.
There's a lot more that I learned about Eith in this book, which was a very pleasant surprise, and it's especially cool to see some of the new directions that the world starts taking at the end. It creates a sense of this world being alive.
