What a fantastic book! This is now my favorite one in this series. This story just keeps getting better and better. I thoroughly enjoyed all the adventures in The Wood and the book turns incredibly epic towards the end and the stakes feel very high, it had me on the edge of my seat all the time.
At the beginning of the story it felt charming and magical, full of excitement and wonder, especially as we walk into the forest not knowing what surprises are waiting for us around every tree. I love a good forest in my fantasy books and this is the best one I've ever visited, it was amazing!
Incredible worldbuilding. Eith just keeps getting more and more interesting.
