What a fun ride this was! The character development is amazing. The cast is wide and interesting and the relationships among them are quite complex. The psychological exploration adds a very unique flavor and human element to the story.
There are space pirates, a ruthless government, special agents, private investigators, but my favorite character was Vision, a girl with intriguing mental superpowers. The telepathy was handled really well, it's well integrated into the characters' interactions and adds a very fun dimension to the story.
Throughout the first 30% or so of the story I feel like we get to deeply know the characters and their motivations. And all of a sudden it all comes together in a super exciting way, I simply rolled with that momentum for the rest of the book.
The settings are unique and memorable; awesome imagery and world-building. The action scenes are super exciting, and there's plenty of action
